Q. Do I need an ACS assessment for every type of appliance that I work on?
A.
Yes! You need a 'core' assessment (or change over assessment) for each sector/area of work that you are involved in such as Domestic, LPG, Commercial or Catering. In addition to the 'core' modules you need an assessment for each appliance type.

A. No! It is irrelevant how may occasions you work on LPG you still need to take the required assessments for the type of work that you carry our, in this instance you would need to obtain either CCLP1 (LPG core) or CoNGLP1 (Natural gas to LPG changeover).

A. Yes! Regulation 3 of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 state all gas businesses including self-employed gas installers are required to be Gas Safe Registered.
